JRNY Pre-School (Ages 0-4)
Discovering Jesus Together
We love helping little ones discover Jesus in a fun and interactive way! Through games, crafts, songs, and Bible stories, our caring team lays the foundation for faith while helping kids build friendships.
- Available during our 9:15 & 11:00 AM services (10:30 AM in summer).
- Check-in: Visit the NextGen check-in desk when you arrive, then, drop-off your child at the back of the lobby. You can pick up your child at the same location.
- Pick-up: Same spot after service.
We can’t wait to welcome your child into a safe, loving environment where they can grow in faith and have fun!
JRNY Kids (Grades K-5)
Fun, Energetic, and Faith-Focused!
- Available during our 9:15 & 11:00 AM services (10:30 AM in summer).
- Check-in: Visit the NextGen check-in desk when you arrive, then drop-off your child at the gym.
- Drop-off & pick-up: Gym
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
Growing in Faith and Friendship
Middle school is a pivotal time for students to grow in faith and identity. At Journey Church, we create a fun, high-energy environment where students can connect, learn, and be challenged in their walk with Jesus. They’ll learn key truths:
“God loves me, and His love never stops.”
“Jesus knows me better than I know myself.”
“I can live out God’s story so others can know Him.”
- Sundays at 11:00 AM (10:30 AM in summer) – Meet in the Café.
- JRNY Youth (Grades 6-12): Wednesdays 6:00 – 8:00 PM – Friends welcome. Wednesday night gatherings run September through June. Check out our Facebook page for summer events!
- Pick-up: Next Gen Lobby (Sundays) | Front of the church (Wednesdays)

High School (Grades 9-12)
Building Faith and Deepening Connections
High school is a time of big decisions and new adventures—and we’re here to help students build a faith that lasts. At Journey Church, we empower high schoolers to grow in their relationship with Jesus, find purpose, and make an impact. Through meaningful connections and real conversations, students will explore these key truths:
“I’m created to pursue a relationship with my Creator.”
“I trust what Jesus did to transform who I need to become.”
“I exist to demonstrate God’s love to those around me.”

Meet Our Leaders
Matthew Jones
NextGen Pastor
Matt Jones served as a church planter and lead pastor in Utah for 17 years. He has also held positions in churches as worship leader and youth pastor, as well as program director at summer camps in Atlantic Canada. For most of his church career, he has served as a lay minister, while working as a software engineer and business owner/operator. Matt loves golf! Next to his family, his dog is the most important person in his life.
