Our Values

Belong

You belong. No matter your past, beliefs, political views, you belong…period.

Believe

We believe that faith in Jesus and his good news can transform lives. We desire to live in a way that love is always first, and His grace extends to everyone who believes.

Become

Character, heart, identity. Jesus loves us too much to leave us where we are. He wants to restore us into who he created us to be.

Build

Purpose, personality, skill, passion. God created us for good works to build his Kingdom.

our mission

Loving others on the journey to becoming fully engaged followers of Jesus.

At Journey Church, we teach that a victorious Christian life is possible for all believers through the forgiveness of sins and the filling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As we develop a relationship with Christ, we change the world.

our family of churches

Celebrating every time a disciple makes a disciple…

The Wesleyan Church is the result of an 18th-century revival, two 19th-century movements, and a 20th-century merger . . . strong roots which sustain a 21st-century vision for spiritual transformation across North America and around the world.  Read more.

We believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Saviour of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.  Read more.

our local & global outreach

Partnering Together to Reach the World

As followers and disciples of Christ we have a responsibility to impact all of the world. (Matthew 28:18-20)

How can you get involved?  Begin by joining a Life Group.  Our goal is to get out of the church building and into the world, just like Jesus modelled for us.  You can also support a missionary with Global Partners, or be part of a team to Haiti, Honduras or the Dominican Republic, or other locations where God calls us.  Our focus in these nations is to build relationships and community, while pouring out the love and joy of Christ to others.  You will reap the rewards in your own life, as you reach out to your community, and the world!

“At Journey we believe that all outreach is local! We serve our community primarily through our Life Groups. We have special Serving Teams who gather around a specific task, like our Food Team, who deliver groceries within our community.”

Scott WoodPastor of Outreach & Groups
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (NLT)
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)
